What a great day! For 1/2 day, I took my son (22 years old) and his friends. The pontoon boat and day were amazing. Rob was fantastic and everyone had a great time.
Species we frequently see include a variety of starfish, sand dollars, bay scallops, whelks, conchs up to 21” long, seahorses, urchins, and hermit crabs and other crab species. These animals can be brought to the surface, handled carefully, and photographed. We bring large containers so that even non-snorkelers can observe them up close before they’re released back into the bay. Shells found without living creatures can be taken home.
If you want to be close to the dolphins and have the opportunity to interact with them, this trip is for your.
"We had so much fun today snorkeling with dolphins and playing on Shell Island. This company is highly recommended. It was the highlight of our vacation." - Christy
If conditions allow, guests are welcome to get in the water when dolphins are nearby. Safety is always our first priority, and your captain will instruct you how to safely snorkel around marine mammals.
We'll help you get as close to dolphins, as possible, while also ensuring their safety. The dolphins can decide how close they want, and how many interactions they want. We practice passive observation. This means, in simple terms, that we allow dolphins to come and visit us. Our dolphins at St. Andrews Bay have an amazing ability to interact with our guests and are very playful.
Relax and unwind while your private USCG captain/tour guide takes you to watch some breathtaking sunsets and views that can only be seen on the water. Bring your favorite beverage & or snacks if you like while you enjoy the evening.
